(HG12)

The HG12 range of equipment was introduced in the early 1980’s and was the natural progression to the very successful oil based C and D ranges of equipment. They are installed on networks of 13.8kV and below, with short circuit ratings of 20kA or 25kA.

Busbar ratings of up to 2000A were available and units could be in single busbar or double busbar configuration.

The HG12 circuit breakers utilised SF6 as the insulating and interrupting medium and were available as 630A, 800A, 1250A and 2000A ratings.

The fixed portion panels were almost identical to the oil based C and D ranges of equipment and utilised cast resin insulation throughout.
